Testifying to the Senate on the Bush administration's international affairs budget for fiscal year 2004, Powell bolstered his argument for the war against Iraq by citing a transcript of a newly released audio tape of Usama bin Laden addressing the Iraqi people. Powell told senators that the transcript once again shows how bin Laden is in partnership with Iraq. "This nexus between terrorists and states that are developing weapons of mass destruction can no longer be looked away from and ignored," Powell said. Hmm, guess he missed the part where bin Laden called Saddam an apostate...



Prime Minister Blair put out a dossier on Iraq, said to be based on "intelligence sources." It turned out to be massively plagairized (errors and all), mostly from a graduate student's paper from 1991...
